Clubhouse Rentals Include

The Ballroom (capacity: 300)

Featuring soaring cedar ceilings, antique oak flooring, stage, disco ball, and small bride's room.

The Grounds

Seven acres of field & forest - great for pics!

The Foyer

Connected to the Ballroom with it's own entrance, the Foyer is perfect for prep, staging and storage.

The Kitchen

Featuring a gas range, commercial fridge, dishwasher, and large stainless steel counter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are tables and chairs included in my Clubhouse rental?

Yes! You may set up furniture however you like, then return everything back to stacks and racks at the end.

Are table linens and chair covers included in my Clubhouse rental?

No. Please contact vendors in Tacoma for linen rentals if you need them.

Is any audio/visual equipment available?

Yes, add-ons are available:

PA System with two Cordless Microphones (+$200) 

LCD Projector with Screen (+$300) 

Outdoor Power Module (+$100)

Can we throw rice or birdseed?

The use of rice, birdseed, confetti, or similar small solid materials attracts vermin and therefore is not permitted in the building or anywhere on the grounds. Blowing bubbles can be a festive alternative!

 

Can I serve alcohol at my event?

Yes! If you're hosting a private event you may obtain a Banquet Permit from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board, which allows you to legally serve alcohol to your guests. We'll ask for a copy of your permit. (See: https://lcb.wa.gov/licensing/banquet-permits)

Yes! If you're a nonprofit organization hosting a fundraising event you may obtain a Special Occasion License from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board, which allows you to legally sell alcohol to your guests. We'll ask for a copy of your license.

What is the insurance requirement for renting the Clubhouse?

 Renters must provide a "Certificate (or evidence) of Insurance" covering public liability with combined bodily injury and property damage in an amount of $1,000,000 naming the Longbranch Improvement Club as the additional insured for the date(s) of the rental period. Your homeowner's insurance may be a good resource, or try an online provider such as sources such as www.theeventhelper.com or www.specialeventinsurance.com.

 

What is the winter heating surcharge?

Our historic building is beautiful, but not well-insulated, which becomes very expensive to heat in the colder months. Thank you for helping to keep our regular rental rates low by supplementing heating costs. 

WINTER HEATING SURCHARGE: $25 per Hour (November-February only)

WEEKEND SPECIAL HEATING SURCHARGE: $750 (November-February only)

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! Active Duty Military personnel receive a 10% discount from standard rental fees.

Qualified Longbranch Improvement Club members receive a 25% discount from standard rental fees.​

Do you offer any additional services?

The Longbranch Clubhouse provides the facility and grounds for rentals only. As a volunteer-run organization, we're not able to offer setup assistance, decorations, catering, or other services.

Can we camp overnight if we rent the Grounds all weekend?

No. Overnight camping is not allowed at the Longbranch Clubhouse.

All renters, guests, and vendors must vacate the property no later than 11pm each night.

I wanna rock and roll all night! Is that OK?

The Longbranch Clubhouse sits among neighbors who enjoy the peaceful quiet of our rural countryside. Please respect our neighbors by turning off outdoor music by 9pm and indoor music by 10pm.

How can I assure that my Refundable Damage Deposit will be returned?

Returning the facility and grounds to it's original condition assures the return of your deposit within 30 days after the conclusion of your rental. You'll need to remove trash and personal items, wipe down and return tables/chairs to storage, and sweep or mop up any messes on the floor.
