Membership 2021 – 100 years old and going strong

Since 1921 the Longbranch Improvement Club has provided fellowship and community support from its members. Today, the LIC has over 200 members.

Members must maintain a residence in the south end of Key Peninsula. To maintain good standing, members attend at least three general meetings per year and contribute at least fifteen hours volunteer labor. With “good standing” status, members are eligible for reduced-rate permanent moorage and Clubhouse rentals. Dues are $40 per year for family, $25 per year for single. Associate members need no residency requirement.

Associate members need only pay dues of $25 per year.

Membership has its benefits

Members receive a monthly newsletter and invitations to all club events, including an Opening Day dock breakfast, summer barbecue, ten potluck dinners and dessert buffets, and a well-loved Christmas party.

Monthly meetings, the third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the clubhouse, provide a forum for club and community action.

The membership chair coordinates club activities and maintains the membership files, including volunteer hours and meeting attendance. Please notify if your mailing address, phone number, or other information changes.
